{"id":13134,"date":"2025-09-03T14:00:31","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T12:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=13134"},"modified":"2025-09-03T14:07:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T12:07:11","slug":"exhibition-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"\/en\/exhibition-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Guovdageainnu gili\u0161illju received Lars Jakobsen H\u00e6ttas` duodji from the Norwegian Folk Museum and the National Museum in Copenhagen back in 2017. Now they have returned home, and we are opening a new part of our permanent exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>The museum has also been loaned duodjis from the University Museum in Bergen and the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/rdm.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Cajahusrahpan-plakahtta2-pdf.jpg\" alt=\"Lars Jakobsen H\u00e6ttas duodji exhibition poster. \" width=\"2116\" height=\"2993\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lars Jakobsen H\u00e6tta created miniature duodjis while he was in prison and the duodjis were used, among other things, as barter goods and gifts to high-ranking gentlemen. H\u00e6ttas&#8217; duodji were part of the development of the Cultural history museums in Norway in the 19th century.
