And on January 1, 2024, the counties parted ways again. But why is it so important for Finnmark residents to decide what happens in their home region? This exhibition tries to find answers to that. In 18 municipalities spread over 50,000 square kilometers, photographer Ingerid Jordal has met Finnmark residents and asked: What is a Finnmark resident? The answers are as diverse as the people who live here, and show a unique history that forms the backdrop for today’s Finnmark identity.

Exhibition period: February 6th – June 20th 2025

Porsanger museum open our doors again 06.02.25. with a new photo exhibition by Ingerid Jordal.

[140

post-12888","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-porsanger-museum
["GET
