The museum exhibitions tell about the S\u00e1mi history, tradition, local history and traditional knowledge, means of livelihood, duodji (traditional handicrafts), arts, religion and spirituality. Our museum has the largest collection of the S\u00e1mi national costumes and clothing.<\/div>\n

The museum collections consist of Sami contemporary and cultural historical objects as well as Sami art:<\/h3>\n

There are approx. 5000 objects in museum collections<\/span>, in exhibitions and in museum storages. <\/span>The objects originate from the entire S\u00e1pmi.<\/span> The museum presents in its exhibitions S\u00e1mi cultural history that covers most S\u00e1mi areas:<\/span><\/div>\n
