Nill\u00e1dallu – Nill\u00e1g\u00e5rden – The Nill\u00e1 farm<\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n

At J\u00e1hkovuona mearras\u00e1mi musea\/Kokelv sj\u00f8samiske museum (A Costal S\u00e1mi museum) you can visit Nillag\u00e5rden – the Nilla farm, which is a genuine coastal S\u00e1mi smallholding with a new boathouse and one third of an old boathouse down by the shore. The farm was built during the rebuilding period after the Second World War.<\/p><\/div>\n

The museum was founded in 1991 by Kokelv museumslag (Kokelv Museum Society) and Kvalsund kommune (Kvalsund Municipality).

  • the coastal S\u00e1mi\u00a0culture in its natural milieu<\/li>\n
  • You will also\u00a0find the rehabilitated Kokelv costume,\u00a0reconstructed according to a coastal
    \nS\u00e1mi costume that was commonly used\u00a0in Kokelv in the 1800s. It was rediscovered\u00a0at the Norwegian Folk Museum\u00a0in Oslo over 100 years later. Today\u00a0the costume is once again in use in the\u00a0area, however now as festivity wear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
